Flower Drawing & Craft for Kids (Printable Included!)
Hi, friends! Today, let's draw a flower, step by step, inspired by the story The Tiny Seed, by Eric Carle!

This story is about a seed who was smaller than all the rest. It gets blown by the wind and goes on a journey! High into the sky, over mountaintops, oceans, and deserts. After landing in a garden, and with plenty of sunshine and water, it grows TALL into a beautiful flower!

There are TWO ways to finish your flower drawing:
Seed Mosaic Flower Craft!

For this craft, you'll need:
Paper
Pen or Marker to Outline
Dry Foods
Glue
What's a mosaic?
A mosaic is a collection of small, hard materials like glass, sand, or beads to create a work of art!
For this mosaic, we're using seeds, peas, lentils, rice, quinoa...really any dry foods you might have around the house! Different colors work best.
Colorful Flower Picture!

For this craft, you'll need:
Paper
Pen or Marker to Outline
Something to color with
We'll create a sunset-effect using three different colors. I chose yellow, orange, and red but you can choose any three colors you like! It works best to select a light, medium, and darker color.
I'm using my favorite beeswax crayons from Faber-Castell.
