Let's Draw the Solar System!

Today's art activity was inspired by the story If Sun Could Speak, written by Kourtney LaFavre and illustrated by Saki Tanaka.

Sun is out to impress in this first-person account that sheds light on the facts, history, and myths about his existence. Sun's goal is to inspire readers to wonder and search for discoveries in this witty, STEM-infused exploration of the center of our solar system.

You can find the book here!

For this project, you'll need:

- Black Paper

- White Paper

- Something to Draw with

- Something to Color with

(I'm using my favorite beeswax crayons)

- White paint

- Paintbrush

- Scissors

- Glue
