Storytelling Necklace Craft for Kids!

Looking for a kids craft to do at home? Learn how to make a fun storytelling necklace inspired by Eric Carle's classic The Very Hungry Caterpillar!
**This project will take some time. It might be best for older kids (5+ years old) as it involves lots of drawing, coloring, cutting, and stringing!
For younger kids (or for a quicker activity),
use this printable coloring page!

Materials:

1 piece of paper
Something to draw with
Something to color with
Yarn or String
Penne Pasta (or beads)
Scissors
Optional: A Hole Puncher & Tape
